Get Connected

Connection Path

God has told us who we are, where to go, and how to get there. He has called us to fulfill our mission by helping people walk a path of spiritual growth in four key areas. These key areas are what we call our connection points. This is where you'll really begin building a life-changing connection with Christ, and start building relationships with other members of Centerpoint. Since you are reading this, we are glad you are ready to start getting connected! We hope you will not just stop at one connection point, we hope you'll get connected in each area!! Worship is about centering our hearts and lives around Jesus Christ (Colossians 3:1-2). At Centerpoint, the primary opportunity for corporate worship is the weekend service where God’s Word is heard, songs are sung, prayers are made, sacraments are observed, and tithes are received (Hebrews 10:25). We expect this to be the “front door” - or starting point - for anyone wanting to grow in his or her relationship with Christ as a part of Centerpoint.

Weekend Services

Every weekend, we gather as a church family to focus on Jesus Christ and worship Him through music and Biblical teaching. Join us for one of four services on Saturday night (6:00pm) or Sunday morning (9:00am, 10:30am, 11:59am).

Overflow

Once a quarter, we get together for a special time of prayer and worship. That’s it. There’s no agenda and no plan, other than inviting the overflow of God’s Spirit to pour out on us as His people!

Connecting is about biblical fellowship and community (Acts 2:42-44). Church isn’t something we go to; it’s something we’re a part of (1 Corinthians 12:12-14). At Centerpoint, the primary opportunity for connecting is our small group ministry. We have LifeGroups and Specialty Groups available for anyone desiring to go deeper in their relationships with God and each other.

Connecting Point Lunch

Are you new - or simply newer - to Centerpoint? Every month or so, we gather immediately after the 11:59am service in room C8 of the Foundry building for our Connecting Point Lunch. Meet our staff, leaders, and other newcomers while enjoying a simple, free lunch. You'll hear a brief snapshot of our values and vision. An RSVP is required for this event.

Centerpoint 101

If Centerpoint is your church “home” –or if you’d like it to be –come to Centerpoint 101 and learn more about becoming a church member. This class is usually held monthly. Membership is more than a formality. It helps us understand what it means to be committed to Christ and His Church! RSVP here!

LifeGroups

Our desire as a church is to help people experience life-changing relationships in every area of their lives. For this to happen, every person must be connected into a small group community that provides encouragement, accountability, and fellowship. Join one that seems like a good fit and start doing life together!

Specialty Groups

It’s good to know you’re not alone. Specialty Groups are intended to put the “relate” in “relationships” by connecting people with shared interests or experiences. We have many Specialty Groups you can join!

Special Events

There’s always something happening at Centerpoint, and we want everyone to be a part! Whether it’s a Beach Baptism, a Harvest Trunk-or-Treat, or any one of the events hosted by our numerous ministries...you’ll have many opportunities to connect with others in a fun and faith-focused environment. Serving is about using the gifts God has given you to help others (1 Corinthians 12:7) through the ministry of the local church. Serving is a normal part of the Christian life (1 Peter 4:10). At Centerpoint, opportunities to serve are everywhere. Join any of our Serve Teams, partner with our Kid City children’s ministry, help people worship as a part of our Audio or Visual Production teams, host a LifeGroup. There are so many ways to get involved! Check out all the great opportunities to start serving!

Influence is about reaching our community and world with God’s love (Acts 1:8). Christ has called us to be His influence in this world (Matthew 5:13-16). At Centerpoint, our M.E.R.C.Y. ministry, Mexico house build, servant evangelism teams, and global missions teams are just several opportunities for you to grow in influence.
